Job Description
Serconnect is on the hunt for a dynamic and skilled Cable Jointer based in the North West. If you’re a multi-talented Electrical Engineer with a knack for high-voltage and low-voltage systems, we’ve got the perfect role for you. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of £47,000 to £52,000, along with a host of excellent benefits.
What You’ll Do
As a Cable Jointer at Serconnect, you’ll:
- Utilise your electrical and mechanical skills to construct, install, and maintain high-voltage and low-voltage electrical cables, switchgear, and substations.
- Adhere to stringent Health and Safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace.
- Enhance Serconnect’s brand reputation through professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Conduct substation inspections and complete accurate test reports within a week.
- Perform LV and HV cable installation, jointing, and terminations, in line with our quality standards.
What You’ll Need
- Hands-on experience with Low Voltage and High Voltage electrical systems.
- Proven skills in high-voltage jointing and fitting.
- City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- A full, valid UK driving licence (B + E categories).
