Derwent Drive, Osprey Charging Network

Overview

Osprey Charging Network, recognising the need for enhanced EV charging infrastructure, wanted to install 16 state-of-the-art chargers at a strategically located Morrisons site. This initiative was particularly significant given the area’s scarcity of charging points.

Solution

The project saw us turning standard parking spaces into a comprehensive EV charging hub. Our team executed a full turnkey service, encompassing site setup, excavation works, and the installation of essential components such as ducting, charger bays, a substation, and a feeder pillar along with a CPU. The work extended beyond the site, involving coordination with the local council for a 120-meter dig along the footpath to access the Point of Connection (POC).

Outcome

We are proud to have completed this project with remarkable efficiency, which resulted in us reducing the project timescales by several months. We did this by leveraging our Option 2 resources, conducting all switching operations with our in-house Senior Authorised Persons (SAPs) and managing the HV jointing works for the POC through our skilled in-house jointers. This resulted in a streamlined and highly efficient project, alongside a strengthened relationship with our client, Osprey Charging Network.
“We are really pleased with the service provided by the team on site. Very professional and easy to work with.”
