IONITY | Village Hotel Liverpool
For IONITY and Village Hotel Liverpool, we delivered a full turnkey infrastructure package, including substation installation, ahead of schedule to complete the development of an ultra-fast charging network.
The substation building was constructed to specification, including a poured-in-situ concrete roof. Once completed, Serconnect swiftly progressed with the installation of substation equipment, doors, earthing systems, internal power, and lighting — all within two days of structural completion. A Solkar protection setup was also integrated, with intricate wiring completed entirely by Serconnect’s in-house technical staff.
To support the charging infrastructure, Serconnect's own EV charging hub installers installed LV bunched waveform cables connecting to two feeder pillars. All necessary permissions for the HV cable route were secured, and the works were carried out in full compliance with energisation deadlines.
Throughout the project, Serconnect maintained constant communication with on-site teams and the client to ensure seamless progress. The company’s ability to self-deliver critical elements such as protection wiring and cable jointing significantly contributed to the project’s smooth execution and timely completion. The result was a fully operational, ultra-fast EV charging hub, delivered to specification and ready for public use ahead of time.
Village Hotel Liverpool. Their work included the construction of a brick-built substation, completed to an exceptionally high standard. All works were completed on time and fully in line with the programme.
