Adam Orr
Construction Director
Adam has been immersed in the electricity industry since 2010, when he started straight out of school and completed an overhead lines apprenticeship with ENWL by 2013. He quickly gained his full LV AP and overhead HV switching qualifications, building a solid foundation in the field. After taking a year to travel through Asia, Australia, and New Zealand in 2017, Adam returned to work at KN Group, contracting on ENWL overhead lines. With an HNC qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering under his belt, he continued his career in 2020 down south, working as a chargehand linesman on the SSE patch, leading a team of four. Adam joined Serconnect in April 2021 as a lineman, jointers mate, and trainee project manager, and he hasn’t looked back since.
Cut to today, Adam fully manages LV/11kV projects from start to finish, handling everything from material procurement and team scheduling to the installation and commissioning of 11kV/LV infrastructure and EV chargers.
Outside of work, Adam is a dedicated family man who enjoys hitting the golf course and exploring new places whenever he gets the chance to travel.
